The Opportunity

Are you a senior, technically-astute insurance professional with a deep specialism in the Life Science/Technology sector?

We are seeking an experienced Client Director to take the helm of a significant and established client portfolio within a market-leading Science & Technology practice.

This is a key strategic hire, upskilling a previous position to bring in a high-calibre individual who can make an immediate impact.

You will inherit a substantial book of business and be empowered to drive its growth and success from day one.

This is not a developmental role, we need a seasoned expert who can hit the ground running.

Your Role

As a Client Director, you will be responsible for:

Taking full ownership and management of an established client book with an income of c.£, - £,.

Acting as the senior relationship manager and technical expert for a portfolio heavily weighted towards Life Science/Tech clients.

Proactively developing new business opportunities to expand the portfolio, in addition to managing renewals.

Collaborating with a highly experienced national practice to deliver outstanding service and technical advice.

Travelling to meet with clients across the UK to foster and strengthen relationships.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has:

Proven experience operating at a senior Client Executive or Client Director level.

A strong background and deep technical expertise in Life Science/Tech insurance. Candidates with a pure life science or pure tech focus are also strongly encouraged to apply.

A demonstrable track record of managing and growing a significant book of business.

Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive and committed approach to both new business generation and client retention.

The willingness and flexibility to travel as required.
