They help ambitious brands define their voice, connect with audiences, and build lasting reputations through powerful brand strategy, branding, rebranding, marketing comms, and internal communications. The Role
They’re seeking an Account Director – Brand & Communications Strategy, a role that sits at the very heart of their client relationships. This person must be deeply strategic—someone who can build and lead marketing and comms strategies from the ground up, not just oversee or manage them.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client relationships as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
Develop, present, and deliver brand, marketing, and communications strategies that drive measurable impact.
Work directly with clients and senior stakeholders to identify business challenges and craft effective strategic solutions.
Collaborate with strategists, creatives, and digital specialists to bring strategies to life through high-quality execution.
Confidently balance strategic vision with hands‑on delivery.
Contribute to agency growth through proactive strategic input.
Help translate one‑off projects into long‑term clients.
What They’re Looking For
An experienced Account Director, or a strong Senior Account Manager ready to step up.
Strategic experience is absolutely essential. Create and lead marketing and communications strategies—not simply manage others who do.
Proven experience working directly with clients and stakeholders to shape strategic direction and define marketing plans.
Ideally agency‑side experience, though exceptional client‑side candidates with significant strategic comms expertise will be considered.
A confident communicator who can engage senior leaders, guide thinking, and turn strategy into action.
Experience in brand strategy, branding, internal comms, marketing comms, advertising and digital.
The Details
Hybrid: 2 days in the Surrey office / 3 days remote.
Team: 24 full‑time employees in a collaborative, non‑hierarchical structure.
Reports: None directly – teams flex around client and project needs.
