Client Director – Hybrid in Sheffield £65,000–£70,000 base + Car AllowanceCompany OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading provider of connected cloud and managed IT services. Role PurposeAs Client Director – Managed Services & Infrastructure, you’ll focus on driving strategic, high-value opportunities across existing accounts and new prospects. This is a senior overlay role, designed to support and elevate the work of the Managed Services & Infrastructure sales team, without being responsible for day-to-day account management or renewals.You will bring executive-level engagement, commercial insight, and leadership to complex opportunities, positioning the business as a long-term strategic partner at C-suite and board levels.While primarily focused on strategic growth, the role also includes direct ownership of a small portfolio of key accounts. Additionally, you may step in temporarily to cover accounts during Account Director transitions, ensuring continuity of service and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Opportunity DevelopmentCollaborate with the Managed Services & Infrastructure sales team to identify and develop large, complex sales opportunitiesLead senior-level engagement to position multi-service solutions aligned to client needsExecutive EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholdersProvide senior presence and credibility during critical sales conversationsSales PartnershipAct as a senior overlay, offering strategic insight and commercial directionSupport bids and account planning to drive cross-sell and upsell opportunitiesDirect Account ManagementManage a small number of high-value accounts with a focus on retention and growthStep in to manage accounts on an interim basis if neededAccount & Territory PlanningSupport development of joint account plansAlign client needs with service capabilities across managed IT, infrastructure, and connectivityCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with technical, delivery, and operational teams to design client-centric solutionsEnsure internal alignment around strategic client initiativesMarket & Thought LeadershipAct as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on business and technology trendsRepresent the company at senior client meetings and industry forumsIdeal Candidate ProfileSenior-level experience in IT managed services, infrastructure, or technology sectorsProven track record of securing and growing complex, high-value accountsStrong executive presence with the ability to engage at board levelCommercially astute, with a strategic mindset and consultative approachExcellent collaborator and communicator, comfortable in matrixed environmentsHighly proactive and outcome-orientedFull UK driving licence requiredBenefitsEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Life Assurance (3x salary)Access to national discount platformComplimentary breakfast and refreshments5% company pension contributionGenerous holiday entitlement + birthday leaveHalf-price internet servicesCycle to work scheme
