Accounts Executive

Our client offers comprehensive ground handling services in London and many other locations across the UK and Ireland.
In this role, you will look after key accounts and produce competitive quotes for your clients. You must have experience in building special relationships.
The key accounts are in the French market.
They need you to be actively involved in presentations about the trips alongside the business development manager.
You will need to build relationships with all suppliers and ensure that you have excellent knowledge of any services that are offered.
Responsibilities:
Acknowledge and qualify (via phone) all new requests.
Ensure that all offers are sent out.
Enter details into tourplan.
Follow up immediately on all offers.
Organise and participate in any client famtrips that need to take place to win or facilitate a booking.
Maintain good relationships with all clients and ensure that any promises/deadlines made to them are kept.
Build relationships with suppliers and ensure that your product knowledge is kept up to date at all times.
Buy under budget (without compromising on quality) where possible to increase the margin.
Send invoices on time to clients and ensure that all payments are made within time guidelines.
Liaise with accounts on all supplier payments and ensure that they are paid in advance of group arrival if this is what has been agreed.
Deal with complaints as and when they arise in a professional manner.
Skills Required:
Fluency in English and French is essential; a third language would be advantageous.
A minimum of one year’s experience in an inbound operator in a group’s role.
Excellent knowledge of the UK as a destination.
Ability to research events, incentives, and the conference market.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Proven experience in preparing quotes and operating groups.
