Associate Director - Business Development

Join us as an Associate Director - Business Development at Lloyds Banking Group. This full‑time role is based in Southern England with a hybrid working pattern requiring at least two days per week in one of our office sites.

We are looking for an experienced dealmaker who can identify and deliver high‑quality new business opportunities within the Asset Finance sector. You will play a key part in building the cash‑flow solution for trading businesses, driving performance for the Asset Finance product line.

What you’ll be doing

  • Establish new relationships for the Asset Finance business.
  • Identify, target and prioritise prospects using research and prospecting tools.
  • Make first contact, utilise the Lloyds brand to arrange meetings, and explain the value we bring.
  • Build trust and nurture interest in working with Lloyds.
  • Collaborate with existing relationship teams to agree credit lines with new clients.
  • Provide full handover to relationship colleagues and remain available for ongoing support.

What we need from you

  • Experience in business development using direct client contact.
  • Previous Asset Finance experience with product knowledge.
  • Accountability for structuring financial solutions and negotiating deals with mid‑to large‑sized corporate clients.
  • Proficiency in credit and underwriting processes and financial documentation analysis.
  • Strong local network connections in the professional space for business development opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with coverage colleagues and key business introducers.
