Associate Director, Country Head Quality Assurance - UK & Ireland Join Moderna as the Associate Director, Country Head Quality Assurance - UK & Ireland and be part of a pioneering team transforming medicine through mRNA technology. This role is based in London and oversees Modernas pharmaceutical quality operations across the region, playing a key leadership role in delivering UK commercial and government partnership commitments.

The successful candidate will act as the Responsible Person (RP) and/or Responsible Person for Import (RPi) on the wholesale distribution license, ensuring compliance with all GxP standards and EU GDP requirements. You will lead a dedicated quality team, oversee product distribution, batch monitoring, and strategic quality initiatives, and serve as the primary quality interface with authorities, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring QMS implementation and GDP compliance as the Responsible Person (RP/RPi). Leading the integration of quality functions for UK government contracts and participating in the UK Quality Council. Overseeing distribution system implementation and ensuring product integrity. Maintaining oversight of warehousing and logistics providers, including complaints, deviations, and sample monitoring. Preparing for inspections, certifications, and audits across the UK & Ireland. Qualifications include: Bachelors Degree in a relevant scientific discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in quality, regulatory, or pharmacovigilance. Strong influence, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
