Your new companyMy client is a privately-owned engineering and environmental multi-disciplinary consultancy operating nationally from three offices. They serve both private and public sector clients in sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, education and healthcare. They understand that you are committing a large proportion of your time to them, so they put a lot of effort into their culture to create a happy, comfortable and professional environment that supports all employees to excel within their roles.Your new roleTheir Geo team provides comprehensive services from pre-planning appraisals to remediation and validation, including:Ground investigation (Phase I & II)Contaminated land appraisalGeotechnical designLegacy mining stability assessmentsRemediation strategies and validationMaterial management and waste classificationResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects from inception to completion.Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across investigations and reporting.Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.Manage and mentor junior staff and support team growth.Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.Review and approve technical reports.What you\'ll need to succeedDegree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.Chartered status (or working towards) with a relevant professional body.Proven experience in contaminated land and geotechnical consultancy.Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.Commercial awareness and ability to win work.What you\'ll get in returnCompetitive Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE37.5 hours working week Monday to Friday (part-time options available)25 days annual leave (Increasing for 2, 5 & 10 years of service)An additional day of annual leave on your birthday (non-transferable)Discretionary two days of paternity leave (above 2 weeks of statutory paternity leave)Option to buy or sell annual leave (up to 5 days per year)Flexible workingCompany pension scheme.
