We’re working with a highly respected, international HE consultancy that’s expanding its senior team. This is a remote Associate Director role focused on the leadership and delivery of strategic health economics projects across early-stage development, evidence generation, and market access support.
You’ll play a pivotal role in mentoring a growing team, leading on complex modelling engagements, and shaping early-stage value strategy for healthcare interventions across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of health economists across a range of project types and seniority levels
- Provide technical direction on economic modelling projects (CEA, BIM, CUAs etc.) and ensure the robustness of client deliverables
- Support early-stage value development strategies for pipeline assets (e.g. early modelling, value frameworks, payer positioning)
- Act as a strategic lead across key client programmes, working closely with technical specialists, project managers, and senior stakeholders
- Oversee quality of outputs across economic models, HTA materials, RWE integration, and communication pieces (slide decks, manuscripts, etc.)
- Identify and support opportunities for internal process improvement, resource planning, and team development
- Contribute to proposal development, client engagement, and thought leadership activities as needed
Experience
- 6–8+ years of experience in health economics consulting or applied research
- Strong foundation in economic modelling and HTA strategy, ideally within EU/UK settings
- Demonstrable leadership experience: team development, project oversight, and client-facing delivery
- Excellent understanding of value demonstration for healthcare products — ideally with exposure to early value strategy or pre-HTA activities
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
- A relevant degree (e.g. health economics, statistics, epidemiology, data science); a PhD or MBA is a plus
