Role Summary

Associate Director of Development will help drive the school’s philanthropic vision forward, lead a skilled team of development professionals and play a significant role in major gift fundraising as part of the centenary campaign.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and implement a new engagement and fundraising strategy.
  • Lead, manage and develop a high‑performing development team.
  • Develop compelling cases for support and secure significant gifts.
  • Strategically convert existing community engagement into an enduring culture of philanthropy.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Development and senior school leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record in securing significant gifts and building varied development programmes.
  • Leadership, insight, energy and a passion for education.
  • Experience of working in a UK school environment is not essential but supportive of independent education is required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
