The London Clinic has an exciting new opportunity for an exceptional leader to join the hospital in a new role, Associate Director of Operations (Diagnostics and Outpatients) . The care group includes imaging, pathology and laboratory services, endocrinology, cardiology and outpatient clinics.  

This role is a senior operational leadership role, working in partnership across the hospital Divisional Clinical Directors and Nursing Matrons, to continue to drive forward the delivery of services. We are looking for a forward thinking and patient focused individual with a proven track record in operational delivery and resilience. You should be able to demonstrate the delivery of successful performance and improvement programs.

Job description

The role holds responsibility and accountability to manage, develop, direct and lead service improvement and performance strategies to ensure delivery of high quality, safe, efficient and effective patient care.

 

This is an exciting time for The London Clinic, as we drive a program of transformation, led from within our clinical services. You’ll play an integral role in modernising services, improving access for patients and driving growth. You will have experience in leading complex services and teams in an acute hospital setting.

 

The role will oversee the end to end pathway, including booking and scheduling, patient access and patient flow through the hospital. The role will ensure services are delivered efficiently within the financial budgets for the service.

Job type: Full time, working 37½ hours per week.

 

Key duties & responsibilities

Set a clear vision and strategy for the future of the services, the enables the delivery of the hospitals objectives

Provide visible and effective leadership and support to staff working within the care groups, including HCPC registered professionals, nurses, administration and consultants

To develop a culture of clinical excellence, efficiency, with continuous improvement of the patient, staff and consultant experience.

Develop effective working relationships with consultants, attracting patients and providing ease of access for consultants using the services
