Associate Director of Operations – London (Hotel Group)

Location: Central London (5 days over 7)

Salary: £85,000 – £110,000 + benefits

Sanderson King are supporting our client, a well-established London hotel group, to appoint a Head of Operations. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing a portfolio of hotels, bars, and restaurants, with a focus on operational excellence, people leadership, and commercial performance.

As the senior operational lead, you’ll work closely with the Group Operations Officer and General Managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive financial results, and embed a culture of collaboration and accountability across multiple properties.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring General Managers to achieve service and performance targets across the portfolio.
  • Driving consistency in standards, guest experience, and operational processes.
  • Partnering with finance and revenue teams to manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Championing people development, culture, and succession planning.
  • Ensuring compliance, safety, and brand standards are upheld across all properties.

ou’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in senior multi-site hotel operations (e.g. Cluster, Regional, or Group Ops roles).
  • Strong commercial acumen and leadership capability.
  • A collaborative, people-first mindset with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
  • A track record of delivering growth and elevating guest satisfaction in a dynamic hospitality environment.
