The firm has a strong presence in the market and is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to its clients.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with strategic business objectives for the US market.Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with key publications.Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.Collaborate with internal teams including to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.Manage relationship with external agency ensuring deliverables and accountability on behalf of the department and firm.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.Manage and provide support to two team members within the PR department.Collaborate and advise firm and practice leadership on strategic initiatives, sensitive communications and thought leadership.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Associate Director of PR should have:15+ years of proven expertise in public relations including legal & professional services experience.Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.Experience managing media relations and building relationships with journalists.Proven ability to create and implement strategic PR campaigns.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Previous people management experience is preferred.Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in legal PR and marketing.What's on OfferCompetitive salary $195,000 - $235,000 annually, depending on experience.Bonus eligibilityComprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) contributions.4 weeks PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr
