About the role:

The impact of your role

Our Oncology team is growing at pace, and we are looking to expand this team with executives with a specific interest and prior experience in Oncology. As an Associate Director, you will lead the project team in the overall execution and delivery of a wide range of projects, both continuous and ad hoc, across a variety of clients and cancer indications. You will be pivotal in turning research into impactful insights and developing strong and enduring client partnerships. 

Your day to day:

These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day to day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation , this may vary as different opportunities arise:

  • Delivering impactful end to end research from set-up, design and execution of projects
  • Significantly contributing to innovative, winning proposals & pitch in response to interesting, challenging briefs
  • Building capability within the team, including on-the-job mentoring and coaching
  • Starting to build enduring client partnerships at the trusted advisor level
  • Supporting on driving development and growth across our key Oncology clients
  • Working alongside Directors in account management with a focus on developing existing client relationships and getting involved in growing the business.
  • Working closely with clients to ensure you fully understand their business, motivations and the impact of your work.
  • Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home. 

    About you:

    Background

  • Significant knowledge of the principles of quantitative and/or qualitative ad-hoc research techniques combined with a willingness to upskill on new and developing approaches. Passion for delivering insightful results.
  • Strong interest in working in Oncology, across a range of clients and indications
  • Enjoying the challenge of breaking down complex briefs, and working collaborative to turn it into engaging studies with impactful results
  • Ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships through delivery of excellent projects
  • Ability to lead complex multi-country studies across a range of methodologies for oncology pharmaceutical brands
  • Experience of managing, developing and motivating individuals and teams
  • Skills

  • Solid research skills including questionnaire & study design, project processes, sampling and basic analytical techniques.
  • Commercial outlook, understand client business and model our Client First behaviours
  • You have strong numeracy skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills and are able to work across multiple projects or tasks.
  • Financial awareness: experience of proactively managing finances on projects and/or have had a core role in ensuring projects’ profitability
  • You are proficient in data analysis software (eg: SPSS, R) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • You have experience with AI-Based Research Tools: Practical experience using AI-powered tools for research tasks, including data analysis platforms and automation tools.
