Job Description:
Calibre Search are looking to speak with Associate Director level Quantity Surveyors who would be interested in joining one of Yorkshire's most established Cost and Project Consultants based in Leeds.
If you like the idea of potentially leading on some of the UK's biggest and most innovative mixed-use developments (Build to rent, retail, commercial), this position could suit you well.
The firm works with some of the UK's most ambitious developers, delivering all Cost Management and Employers Agent work on various developments. They are also building a large new factory on the Southern coast, where you will lead with support from the team of 27 QS's.
The practice is renowned for high standards and landmark projects across Northern England. They offer a hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 at home) and promote a strong team ethos and culture.
They are looking for either Associate or Senior QS's ready to step up, with clear progression towards Director level, along with benefits and bonuses.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets.
- Administer contracts and manage tender processes.
- Conduct risk management and value engineering assessments.
- Monitor and report on project costs and progress.
- Provide expert advice on cost management and procurement strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- MRICS membership preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying and employer's agent work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring high standards.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth.
- Oversee client relationships and satisfaction.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
