As an Associate Director in the Water Sector, you will play a vital role in business development and water engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of the Water sector, and deliver water services into sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions across the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as during construction phases. We currently have opportunities in the Glasgow office. Responsibilities
Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. Set quality assurance standards in design. Grow, develop and manage water engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring
Chartered Civil Engineer. Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. Comprehensive knowledge in water and wastewater treatment, hydraulics, storage, supply and collection systems and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
