The Role: We’re looking for an Associate Director to join our team. Acting as a key ambassador for Cumming Group, you’ll be responsible for managing key client relationships, delivering high-quality services, and driving business growth. You’ll also lead and mentor a team, ensuring strong performance and supporting long-term strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead service delivery for key clients, maintaining and strengthening relationships Support strategic initiatives and identify new growth opportunities Manage bids, fee proposals, and resource planning Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and change control processes Provide leadership, line management, and mentoring for team members Ensure compliance with company policies, client governance, and quality standards Support recruitment, training, and development of staff in line with business needs Forecast team workload and staffing requirements Contribute to business development through networking and client engagement About You: Strong technical knowledge of the construction industry Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and influencing skills Proven leadership and team management experience Strong analytical, organisational, and forward-planning abilities Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure Highly presentable with the ability to build trust and credibility Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Construction, Cost Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar MRICS (or equivalent) preferred Experience managing people and delivering multiple or complex projects Cumming Group is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
