Salary: Grade 9 starting at £58,225 to £67,468 per annum, pro rata if part time. Grade 10 starting at £69,488 per annum.

Closing Date: 9 November 2025Brighton & Sussex Medical School is seeking to appoint a Senior Medical Statistician and Clinical Trials Unit Director. This appointment will be at Associate Professor or Full Professor level dependent on the experience of the successful candidate. The UK Clinical Research Collaboration-registered Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit, co-located with the Department of Primary Care and Public Health at Brighton & Sussex Medical School conducts UK-based trials and other well-designed studies across a broad range of specialties, designs and interventions ( drug and device trials, psychological interventions, digital health).
