Are you a driven and commercially minded Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We’re working exclusively with a respected and fast-growing planning consultancy based in the North West to find an exceptional Associate Town Planner to join their dynamic team.

This boutique planning consultancy has built a strong reputation across the North West for delivering high-quality planning advice across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. With a collaborative and agile culture, they are passionate about the places they help shape and the people they work with – both clients and colleagues.
Due to sustained growth and a healthy pipeline of diverse projects, they are now looking to appoint an Associate-level Town Planner to help lead projects, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to business development.
The Role
As Associate Town Planner, you will:
Take ownership of a varied caseload including residential, strategic land, and mixed-use schemes
Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals
Work closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver planning solutions
Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
Support business development activities and build client relationships
About You
We’re looking for a commercially aware and personable planning professional who can bring:
MRTPI qualification (or working towards)
5+ years’ experience in planning (consultancy or public sector)
Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and development management processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a desire to contribute to a growing practice
