As Audit Director/Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of accounts and external audit clients to deliver a service including building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Overseeing the delivery of audits, accounts, and corporation tax returns for a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors, including but not limited to property, retail, technology and not for profit
Managing teams and ensuring planned work is completed within the agreed budget and timescales from planning through to completion
Act as a principal contact for your clients through the year delivering a proactive service
Liaising with clients and managing client expectations
Reporting directly to the Audit Partners and attending client meetings
Undertaking pre-and post-audit meetings
Preparation and presentation of reports
Direct, coach and mentor audit teams to assist them in the delivery of engagements
Assisting team members who are studying to help them achieve the best results possible to qualify
Proactive business development activities

Be qualified ACA or ACCA with extensive post qualified experience within UK practice
Hold RI status or have the desire to achieve this in the near future
Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards; UK GAAP and IFRS
Highly organised and able to prioritise workload and effectively delegate and apportion work to team members
Leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members
Strong business acumen
Positive can do attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills, CaseWare experience would be an advantage
The ability to inspire junior team members
