Business Development Director | Market Research & Insights

Location: Remote/Hybrid (UK-based, London-bound as/when required)

We're working with an established global agency, looking to grow its custom research footprint in the UK market. You'll enjoy the backing and resources of a global agency, but enjoy the challenge of a start up environment where you can be hands-on and own the growth. You'll ideally have a strong personal brand and be able to leverage your network and relationships.

Please note, this role does require hands-on experience selling custom primary research to end-clients in the B2B & B2C space.

Responsibilities

• Lead full research sales cycle for end-clients across B2B and B2C sectors
• Drive new business acquisition and pitch consultative insight solutions
• Convert qualified leads into high-value new business opportunities
• Collaborate with research and marketing teams to deliver commercial growth
• Represent the brand at client meetings, conferences and industry events

Qualifications

• 6-10 years’ experience, ideally with a background in research turned sales
• Proven success in new business development (not just sales enablement)
• Comfortable selling custom research to end clients - not agency.
• Tap into existing network and industry relationships to win new business
• Energetic, target-driven and confident in a start-up style environment
• Ready to help build a team and lead future growth in the UK
