Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Director to lead our efforts in identifying, engaging, and securing business with Enterprise companies, partnership agreements with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) in selected markets. In addition, the ideal candidate will also have experience in the Reseller channel through MSP’s & CSP’s. This role will play a critical part in expanding our connectivity, enhancing our value proposition, and enabling seamless IoT deployments worldwide for global customers.
Objectives & Responsibilities
Identify and qualify potential Enterprise customers in priority markets to support our IoT MVNO expansion.
Identify and qualify potential MNO partners in priority markets to support our IoT MVNO expansion.
Identify and qualify potential CSP & MSP channels in priority markets to support our IoT MVNO expansion.
Initiate and manage end-to-end partnership discussions, including commercial negotiations, contract terms, and technical requirements.
Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at Enterprise, MNOs, CSP/MSP’s including business, technical, and regulatory teams.
Develop a strategic roadmap for market entry and acquisition aligned with the company’s connectivity and growth goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Network, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure successful onboarding and integration of new customers, resellers & MNO partners.
Monitor regulatory and market developments in target regions to assess opportunities and risks.
Track performance of existing customer and partner relationships and identify opportunities for optimization and joint go-to-market initiatives.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build market presence and generate new leads.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience (10+ years) in business development, partnerships, or carrier relations within the telecom, MVNO, or IoT space.
Deep understanding of mobile network operations, roaming, IoT connectivity, and MVNO business models.
Strong network of contacts within Enterprise, MNOs and telecommunications providers globally or in targeted regions.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex negotiations and drive them to closure.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for or with an IoT MVNO, roaming hub provider, or global SIM provider.
Understanding of eSIM, LPWAN (e.g., NB-IoT, LTE-M), and 5G technologies.
Multi-lingual abilities are a plus depending on the target markets
