Job Description

Service Care Solutions are partnering with a rapidly expanding international investment firm to appoint a Business Development Director (BDD) within their Investment Division. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for driving investment into the company’s fixed‑income and alternative investment products. The focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with High‑Net‑Worth Individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and professional investors across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Initially, this will be an individual contributor position, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the division continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new investment into fixed‑income and alternative investment products.
  • Build and manage relationships with HNWIs, family offices, and professional investors.
  • Oversee and mentor Introducers and BDMs as the team scales.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investment products and global market trends.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute commercial growth strategies.

Candidate Criteria

  • Proven track record in raising capital within alternative investments, fixed income, or private capital markets.
  • Established investor network of HNWIs, family offices, or professional investors.
  • Entrepreneurial “hunter” mindset, able to operate autonomously.
  • Experience developing long‑term investor relationships and delivering results in a high‑growth environment.
  • Credibility and gravitas when engaging with sophisticated or institutional investors.
  • Experience working with non‑retail investment products (this firm is not FCA regulated).
  • Exposure to derivatives, structured investments, or securities.
  • Prior leadership or mentorship experience with introducers or business development teams.
  • Commission: Scaled, performance‑based, with total OTE circa £500,000.
  • Pension: ~3% employer contribution.
  • Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays.
  • Working Style: Remote with monthly Manchester meetups preferred.
  • Equipment: Provided for full‑time hires.
