The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading and aligning the Buying, Merchandising, and Planning functions, ensuring a compelling product offering that delivers on brand, margin, and customer expectations across all channels (including retail, e-commerce, and wholesale). You'll bring a balance of analytical rigour and fashion intuition to: Own the end-to-end seasonal strategy, from range planning to in-season trading
Drive margin and profitability improvements through range architecture, pricing, and markdown strategies
Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration across Design, Production, and Marketing
Shape a balanced product strategy that reflects both commercial goals and brand DNA
Utilise data and customer insight to inform buying decisions and future growth
Collaborate cross-functionally on sustainability, supply chain efficiency, and digital performance
The Candidate
You will be a senior leader with proven experience in buying and/or merchandising at director level, ideally within premium or contemporary womenswear. Key requirements: Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of product, customer, and margin
Strong leadership track record with the ability to inspire, challenge, and grow teams
Highly analytical with solid commercial instincts and P&L accountability
Experience working across multi-channel retail environments
Passionate about product, with an appreciation for quality, cut, and design
Comfortable working in an agile, entrepreneurial environment
