This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Category Director to grow their career with London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in the Cloud Category. LSEG operates a multi cloud vendor strategy with our partners which are pivotal to LSEG success.

This role supports our strategic cloud partnerships and collaborations, covering co-development of products and cloud infrastructure solutions across all LSEG divisions

The relationships involve a significant migration of internal systems to the cloud as well as strategic co-development opportunities across a range of products and businesses.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Procurement, this role is accountable for the commercial and contractual activities across Cloud, including supplier relationship management, the sourcing and partner strategy, and alignment with the objectives for the two agreements. It will perform a combination of sourcing, supplier relationship management and business partnering activities, primarily supporting Executive level and C suite stakeholders and their leadership teams.

To that end we build senior relationships, understand their business objectives, how the partnerships are delivering against them, ensure the partnerships continue to deliver and make changes as necessary,

We create opportunities to meet our partnership business objectives in a commercially optimal way, while avoiding commercial risk. We work across LSEG and the partner to leverage wider relationship to achieve this. Procurement plays a pivotal role in supporting these partnerships, achievement through close collaboration with them.

Procurement Organisation

You will be working in a distributed organisation with presence in the UK (London), USA (New York), Spain (Madrid), Singapore, India (Bengaluru) and Sri Lanka (Columbo).

The Procurement organisation reports into the Chief Finance Officer, providing services to the whole of LSEG with supplier spend of c. 2BN and c. 5,000 suppliers. It operates under the following key categories:

To be successful in the role, the successful candidate will align their activities to the Objectives of both programmes

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

The primary purpose of the role is to provide commercial and contractual leadership and hands-on Procurement and Supplier Relationship support across the Partnerships. You will be expected to build and engage at Executive and Senior levels within LSEG and the partner. As a leader you will build and develop strategies to optimise value from the relationships and working with the Programmes, Technology and business teams. You will be responsible for running and driving complex sourcing initiatives. The role provides expert advice on LSEGs contractual obligations and those of the partner and how best the parties can meet these.

Candidate Experience

The candidate will have significant experience of leading and developing teams in a complex, high-pressure environment, identifying and leading sophisticated sourcing projects with multiple partners. Candidates who have experience of working within the Financial Services sector could be well suited to this role (but this is not crucial).

The ideal candidate may be running or previously led key technology services supplier relationships.

Education

A Bachelors degree is preferred. MCIPS preferred but not essential.
