Leverton Search London, United KingdomA leading purpose-driven global investment firm is looking for a Director to join its high-performing Fundraising and Investor Relations team, focused on the wealth channel.
With a growing private markets platform, the firm has identified the wealth segment as a key area for strategic expansion. This role will be central to deepening existing relationships and sourcing new ones across family offices, private banks, and UHNWIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive fundraising and relationship management in the wealth channel, with a focus on Private Equity strategies.
- Contribute to strategy development, product design, and investor communications.
- Lead and support capital raising efforts across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate globally across client, investment, and product teams.
- Represent the firm at investor meetings, roadshows, and events.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling within other investment strategies.
- Drive business growth through new client acquisition and cross-sales.
- Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to individual investors.
- Master the firm's messaging and investment strategy content.
- Collaborate with the client team to achieve collective goals and initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
- Accomplished fundraising professional with a demonstrable track-record and experience with Private Equity.
- Deep understanding of alternative investment structures and the wealth landscape.
- Exhibit a keen interest in understanding macro-economic factors influencing sustainable capitalism, enabling effective communication and relationship-building with key clients.
- Ability to engage and persuade senior stakeholders, effectively communicate the firm’s strategy, and create impactful marketing materials using the firm's unique intellectual assets.
- Highly collaborative, commercially astute, and comfortable engaging at a strategic level.
- Commitment to sustainable capitalism, coupled with high integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and sound judgment, is crucial for alignment with the firm’s values.
- Strong academic background; MBA or equivalent advantageous.
