Position
With a growing portfolio of brands, and ambitious growth plans, STRAT7 Researchbods is looking for a Client Director to join our team in Leeds. This role is varied and requires a confident hands-on attitude. Alongside client management you will be a strong people leader, helping to develop and coach direct reports and the wider team, and develop our offering to clients by understanding and responding to their evolving business needs.
The role
As Client Director you will take responsibility for the commercial management and strategic direction of each client account; ensuring that designated clients receive an exceptional level of strategic and innovative thinking, the best-in-class client service and high level of executional implementation at all times.
This is a high-profile role, working closely with our specialist teams and sister agencies across STRAT7 Group to develop our client offering and bringing these solutions to market. We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate a proactive approach, strategic thinking and a strong commercial focus. You will be taking an active role in new business pitching, onboarding new clients and taking ownership of key accounts.
Requirements
Desired skills and Knowledge
You will have experience in a client facing/consultancy role with proven experience:
- Autonomously owning and managing a portfolio of clients, developing and evolving tailored account plans delivering solid growth
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to apply this within your work (successfully pitching for new business, negotiating client contracts, growing accounts)
- Excellent communication skills.Building strong relationships with clients at a senior level and becoming a trusted consultant, demonstrating a firm understanding of client’s strategic direction and challenges and managing difficult conversations where necessary
- A proven track record of leadership / people management at a senior or director level – coordination and project management of teams with varying skillsets is essential, managing and motivating people to bring out their full potential.
- Demonstrating proactivity, collaboration, and an inquisitive attitude.With strong problem-solving skills, you will be quick to action solutions in a pro-active and decisive manner
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects (and people) at once – with strong attention to detail delivering accurate, high-quality work on deadline
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with clients and senior colleagues in a clear and interesting way

We are offering
- Salary up to £70,000 p/y dependant on experience
- Hybrid working – two days at our central Leeds office
- 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays (our office also shuts between Christmas and New Year)
- One additional holiday day per year after 2 years’ service, up to a maximum of 5 extra days.
- Ability to buy up to 3 days holidays
- A contributory group personal pension scheme, to which we contribute 4% of Qualified Banded earnings to each team member’s salary
