As part of its global expansion, the company is now establishing operations in the UK and broader European markets. To support this growth, they are seeking a senior commercial leader to drive market entry and partnership development.Position SummaryThe Commercial Development Director / Senior Director will be responsible for leading the commercialization strategy of innovative pharmaceutical products in the UK and across Europe. The role will also include alliance management, ensuring that partnerships and collaborations are effectively developed and managed to accelerate growth.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute commercialization strategies for innovative products in the UK and European markets.Collaborate closely with the Global Commercial Officer to ensure alignment with global objectives.Lead alliance and partnership management, including negotiations, relationship-building, and governance.Build a strong network with healthcare providers, regulators, payers, and other stakeholders.Track and analyze market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making.Act as a senior representative of the company in external engagements within the UK and Europe.Contribute to cross-regional collaboration with teams in the US, Asia, and the Middle East.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred.10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercialization, business development, or alliance management.Strong knowledge of the UK and European pharmaceutical markets, including regulatory and access pathways.Proven track record of managing partnerships and commercial alliances in an international context.Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, innovative, and global organization.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales, Business Development, and General BusinessIndustriesPharmaceutical Manufacturing and Biotechnology Research
