Plumbmaster are a leading specialist within the plumbing & heating division of Haldane Fisher. We offer a dedicated service to the plumbing & heating industry, with specialised trade counters and staff who aim to provide unrivalled levels of customer service. We wish to recruit a driven and strategic Commercial Director to lead our commercial strategy and shape growth across the Plumbmaster division. This is a high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of one of the region's fastest-growing independent merchants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement commercial strategies across sales, purchasing, and pricing to drive business performance.
• Deliver profitable growth and margin improvement across all branches and product categories.
• Mentor and manage the external Plumbing & Heating sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Strengthen strategic customer relationships through joint visits and long-term engagement.
• Oversee pricing governance, including Decision Support Pricing and Special Price Agreements to maintain control and competitiveness.

• Proven leadership experience in a commercial or sales-focused role
• A strong understanding of the plumbing and heating sector
• A strategic mindset with a 'hands-on' approach
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting customer relationships
