Business-to-business publishing house Place North is looking for a Client Services Director to lead on client success and project delivery.Place North is well-known and respected in the property community for delivering top-quality news and events, through regional titles Place North West, Place Yorkshire, and Place North East.As well as news and events, we deliver advertising and marketing opportunities to clients who wish to reach our property readers. Our clients include major national and SME property developers, construction companies, architects, surveyors, and more.We are seeking an organised, reliable, and personable leader for our content production team, who work at pace to deliver quality client activity and inhouse content.As a senior member of the team, you will support the leadership team in driving the company’s culture and ethos, and contributing to wider business plans.Responsibilities includeLead on the delivery of client publishing and advertising activityOversee the production team as they produce content for clients, inhouse marketing, and special projectsProduce content for client projects and marketing, using design skillsReview and be responsible for signing off on content including videos, podcasts, and marketing designsSet out project plans, manage timelines and team members to ensure client and inhouse projects are delivered to a high standard and on timeAct as the main point of contact for our partners, ensuring excellent customer service and activity deliveryCreate and communicate analytics reports with clientsLead on quality control of output across the company, ensuring Place North is unbeaten in accuracy, quality, and attention to detailDeliver on strategic business plans and drive efficiencyLiaise with editorial, events, and sales teams to ensure joined-up thinking and project delivery across the boardMaintain excellent client and internal team communications, ensuring everyone is up to date and on target with projectsSkills, experience, and approachYou will:Be a creative problem-solverBe extremely organizedBe a confident and effective communicatorEnjoy building strong relationships with clientsBe able to plan, manage and execute complex projects under pressureHave experience in designing contentBe adept at using Adobe design packagesHave experience in managing peopleHave an excellent eye for detailVideo or podcast knowledge or expertise is a bonus – you will not be required to deliver this activity but to review and sign-off video and podcast outputYou will be the driving force maintaining the highest standards among our competitors and ensuring all output is completed effectively, on time, and with great results.You will be managing our two content producers, who work on client delivery and inhouse marketing projects. You will be required to create some content yourself as well.Activity that clients book with us includes: advertising and marketing campaigns, filmed interviews and building tours, podcasts, and email campaigns.Other projects you will lead on include reader campaigns, driving user and client experience, and promoting our events calendar.This is a new position, based in our Manchester city centre office, available now.
