Our client, a leading consultancy specialising in operational transformation, is entering an exciting phase of growth and looking for a Practice Director to spearhead expansion across key sectors. You’ll join a consultancy trusted by well-known organisations, valued for its hands-on approach, and committed to building sustainable performance improvements that stick. This is an opportunity to shape the direction of major programmes while developing new revenue streams and leaving a lasting mark on client organisations.
The Practice Director will take ownership of driving revenue, growing client accounts, and overseeing the delivery of high-value transformation projects that deliver measurable ROI. You’ll lead talented teams, build senior stakeholder relationships, and generate innovative solutions that tackle complex operational challenges.
Role Highlights
Lead and grow a defined sector practice, generating c.£2m+ revenue annually
Win and expand client accounts through new business and strategic growth
Engage with C-Suite leaders to scope and secure large-scale transformation projects
Oversee project delivery, ensuring sustainable performance improvements
Mentor consultants and embed strong management systems across engagements
You Will Need
Proven ability to sell £1.5m+ annually in consulting revenues (people-based, not tech)
Track record of winning business from cold leads and expanding accounts beyond £0.5m/year
Experience in operational improvement, Target Operating Model, or ROI-driven change projects
Strong leadership and client engagement skills at senior levels
Familiarity with consultative sales approaches such as SPIN or equivalent
