My client is a long-established, highly respected, privately-owned construction business headquartered in Greater Manchester and delivering contracts across the UK. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction (contractor) professional to join the business at an exciting time in a Senior, Board role. The duties and responsibilities will be broad and varied, but will include:-What You’ll Do:Be a key member of the Company's Board advising on all projects and related commercial mattersBe the key lead Director co-ordinating estimating, production, commercial and client relationshipsLead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and commercial frameworksOversee project delivery from tender to final account, ensuring operational and financial targets are agreed, understood and metCollaborate with Board Directors, Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and the Commercial and Estimating teams to drive performanceChampion health & safety, ensuring compliance and continuous improvementMaintain existing and build strong client relationships with new, potential clientsWork closely with the Managing Director to develop commercial and business strategyWhat You’ll Bring:10+ years in contract or senior construction managementA clear track record of delivery of profitable, successful projects and business growthA professional, construction qualification (RICS, CIOB, ICE or equivalent)Strong commercial acumen & legal contract knowledgeProven leadership, negotiation & stakeholder management skillsOperational understanding of project management and delivery across large, commercial construction projectsWhat is on Offer:A truly senior, 360, Board level roleThe opportunity to mold strategy and drive performanceA truly competitive packageThe chance to work with a business with a superb reputation and an exciting futureFor a confidential discussion, apply now
