Corporate Account Director (PR/Comms Agency)
New Yesterday
Corporate Account Director (PR/Comms Agency)
Location: London (hybrid, 3 days per week in office)
The Agency
The agency is a boutique of around 6 people (plus long‑term freelancers), founded by people who have cut their teeth in some of the largest and most well‑known agencies in the industry – meaning they know what good looks like.
They pride themselves on creativity, embedding brands with cultural intelligence to gain earned attention and have been awarded 25 times in the 5 years since they set up.
They have just won a large client in the technology and social care space with a broad‑reaching remit. The client’s purpose and goal is to transform the care industry through technology and innovation – a highly regulated and in‑demand sector, only increasing with the UK’s ageing population. 80 % of the role will be dedicated to this client; the rest will support other clients (notably a pet supplement/care brand) and assist with new business to continue the agency’s growth in the corporate space.
The environment is very non‑corporate – no suits and ties! Soho based and they share the workspace with a number of other agencies, giving a buzzier vibe.
The Role
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Lead the day‑to‑day management of the client’s press office, acting as the primary media contact and spokesperson support.
Develop and execute proactive media strategies to enhance the client’s reputation across both corporate and consumer audiences.
Respond rapidly and thoughtfully to reactive media enquiries, ensuring accurate, sensitive, and timely messaging.
Craft compelling press materials, statements, and thought leadership content tailored to different audiences.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, trade press, national media, and digital influencers relevant to social care and B2B sectors.
Monitor media coverage and provide strategic insight and reporting to the client and senior internal teams.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, policy teams, and marketing, to ensure integrated messaging.
