Warner Scott is representing a corporate finance boutique in London looking to hire an ambitious Corporate Finance Director to join its growing team. The firm has established long-standing relationships with a range of reputable clients, including blue-chip corporates, private equity funds, entrepreneurs, and family offices. The firm holds excellency in project delivery at the core of their values, and through this has built the foundation of their success through repeat business with these long-standing clients.

The founder is looking for someone with a track record of business development and high quality project delivery. Anyone who can consistently bring new business into the firm and demonstrate exemplary deal execution will have a clear and accelerated path to Partner in front of them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the origination and execution of M&A transactions and strategic advisory mandates.
  • Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients, including blue-chip corporates and private equity firms.
  • Play a key role in business development, leveraging your network and employing effective go-to-market initiatives
  • Manage deal teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality financial analysis, valuations, due diligence, and marketing materials.
  • Provide strategic advice and transaction guidance to clients at board and shareholder level.
  • Mentor and develop junior professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Position yourself as a future Partner by consistently delivering strong deal flow and exceptional execution.

The Individual

  • Significant experience in corporate finance / investment banking / advisory, with a strong track record in M&A execution and business development.
  • Demonstrable ability to originate and win mandates, underpinned by a credible personal network.
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes, providing clear guidance to clients and colleagues.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by the prospect of contributing to the firm’s growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
