AJ Chambers are partnering with a top 10 firm based in Reading who are looking for a new Corporate Tax Associate Director to step up and make an impact. You will be part of a high-performing Corporate Tax team working across multiple sectors including Technology, Life Sciences, Manufacturing and more. The client base ranges from ambitious start-ups to large multinational organisations, giving you the chance to work on a diverse and interesting portfolio.
In this role, you’ll take the lead in delivering advisory projects, managing compliance, and building strong client relationships. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape and grow your own client portfolio, while developing the leadership and commercial skills that will take your career forward.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering both advisory and compliance services.
- Leading the delivery of commercially sound, technically excellent tax advice.
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for new and existing clients, supporting business development activities.
- Collaborating closely with senior leadership, contributing to strategic growth.
- Supporting and mentoring team members, helping them to reach their potential.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge and prior experience managing corporate tax clients.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality advisory and compliance work.
- Ability to develop trusted client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Experience in managing people and supporting team development.
- CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent).
