These dynamic, entrepreneurial, and often fast-growing businesses require our expertise to navigate complex tax compliance obligations and support various tax advisory projects as they grow, restructure, and plan for succession.We aim to build strong, trusted adviser relationships by understanding our clients' business and personal goals and helping them achieve these in the most tax-efficient manner.Our wider national tax practice includes corporate and multinational teams, as well as specialist services like innovation tax, employment taxes, VAT, and real estate, enabling us to support our Private Capital clients comprehensively.A look into the roleAs a member of our Private Capital corporate tax team, you will work with a diverse client base, from owner-managed businesses to private equity-backed firms.As an Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:Advising clients on various tax issues, including compliance and advisory projectsParticipating in client meetings, providing clear and confident responses to queriesBuilding trust with clients through high-quality, accurate tax advice delivered on timeLeading client work and collaborating with wider tax teams to ensure appropriate skill utilizationMentoring and supporting the development of junior team membersProviding innovative solutions to tax issues and proactively cross-selling services within the firmLeading on pitches and proposals, actively growing the business and demonstrating our capabilitiesQualifications and skillsThe minimum requirements include a professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience and confidence managing a portfolio of entrepreneurial clients.Additional skills that are beneficial include:Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and international conceptsExperience reviewing work and supervising staff in a tax environmentBackground in a professional services settingExperience managing a large tax client portfolioBusiness development skillsWillingness to deepen knowledge of the firm’s servicesOur culture and benefitsWe pride ourselves on an inclusive culture that fosters growth and performance.
