This is a new AI practice with serious investment and theyre looking for a proven Business Development leader who knows how to sell complex, bespoke data & AI solutions into enterprise clients. This role is perfect for someone who has already made the move into full-time sales , likely from a consulting or technical background , and now wants to scale something new. Youll be one of the first senior hires in the AI team, helping shape how this function grows both commercially and strategically. Why this stands out: Greenfield AI & Data practice join early and influence how the offerings are shaped and taken to market Youll be selling AI strategy, data platforms, and engineering services not off-the-shelf products Expect to work across existing clients and net-new logos in sectors like Financial Services, Telco, Retail, Utilities, and Public Sector Real opportunity to own and grow a vertical, build out relationships, and become a go-to for AI sales within the business Bonus structure is team-based , not just commission-led they reward collaboration, not lone-wolf selling What theyre looking for: 6+ years in Business Development or Sales roles , with a strong record of selling consulting or IT services At least 1 year of experience selling AI, Data or Analytics services/solutions (not products) Youve likely come from a delivery or technical background , but have fully transitioned into client-facing BD roles You can credibly discuss trends in AI and spot where value can be unlocked for clients Youre comfortable working across the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to close and working with delivery Strong understanding of enterprise buying cycles and decision makers (ideally across 12 verticals) If you're in a sales-focused role and looking for something more entrepreneurial where you can have real influence and commercial ownership this is a rare chance to step into a Director role with both autonomy and backing.
