The Major Projects business unit already contains exciting projects such as Thames Water’s SESRO and Anglian Water’s Fens and Lincs reservoirs.
This role would suit someone with project management and project director experience within professional services in large Water Utilities capital projects or similar field and who is looking for the next step.
Responsibilities
Taking a key fee earning position within major projects such as commercial/project management.Plan, executes, monitors and controls projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk procurement and stakeholder management across multiple projects of medium to high complexityContract management across multiple contracts/frameworksEnsures project teams deliver projects to the As-Sold financial metrics or betterBalance the needs of multiple projects across the Major Projects portfolioLeadership of a team of resources to service a number major projects or frameworks, including strategic growth and directionOrganise and chair professional client meetings, including business development activitiesUnderstand the customer’s basic and performance requirements and formulate a scope of work that adds value for our customers and BinniesAssess the technical and commercial risk of projectsLead project pursuits and bids as Bid Manager or Bid Director and create and review proposals and costings for new oppourtunitesAttributes
The role would be suitable for an individual with a proven track record in the successful delivery of water projects. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:
