To bring this vision to reality I am seeking an experienced, visionary and dynamic Deputy Director Process Transformation & User Experience to be responsible for leading and managing the strategic development and implementation of process improvement initiatives within an organization. This role is at the forefront of transforming corporate services, powered by the latest SaaS technologies.
In this role you will analyse current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop and implement solutions to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
This high-profile role is part of the Government Major Programme portfolio, meaning the successful applicant will be working closely with HMG's Infrastructure and Projects Authority. Job description
The Deputy Director of Process Transformation & User Experience is responsible for leading and managing the strategic development and implementation of process improvement initiatives within an organization. This role involves analysing current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and developing and implementing solutions to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
Lead a team of process improvement experts to analyse and redesign key business processes to drive operational excellence and maximize efficiency.
Develop and implement a comprehensive process improvement strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across different departments, Cabinet office and HM Treasury to identify process improvement opportunities and prioritise initiatives based on their impact on business outcomes.
Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the success of process improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members and stakeholders on process improvement methodologies and best practices.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation by promoting cross-functional collaboration and fostering a mindset of innovation and creativity.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in process improvement and automation to identify new opportunities for optimization.
Create and deliver regular progress reports to senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for further improvements
Person specification
Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives in a complex organisational environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of operational inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in coaching and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Business Process Reengineering.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring process improvement initiatives from conception to implementation

Annual Leave and Bank Holiday Allowance:

Shortlist:
The panel will assess the evidence provided in your CV and statement. Candidates whose applications best meet the essential criteria will be selected for a preliminary interview with Global Resourcing before reconvening to agree a final interview shortlist.
