Role: Director & Associate Director – Transaction Services (FDD & M&A)

Job Location: Leeds | Manchester | Birmingham | Bristol | Nottingham

As an Associate Director or Director in Transaction Services, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the Corporate Finance practice while supporting the development of a high-performing team. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on delivery with leadership, business development, and strategic impact.

You will bring proven experience in financial due diligence for corporate and strategic buyers, private equity, financial investors, and vendors, alongside a strong understanding of sector dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence assignments, ensuring high-quality advice and insights are delivered to clients.
  • Oversee day-to-day project progress, managing multiple engagements simultaneously while effectively prioritising teams and client needs.
  • Apply innovative approaches and tools (including data analytics) to enhance the quality and efficiency of work.

Client & Business Development

  • Build, manage, and strengthen client and intermediary relationships, contributing to long-term business growth.
  • Take ownership of commercial and risk management within projects.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new business, deliver compelling pitches, and enhance the firm’s market presence.
  • Create an environment where individuals can thrive, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
  • Contribute to recruitment, learning, and development initiatives that strengthen the team’s capabilities.
  • Lead by example in fostering a collaborative, supportive, and ambitious culture.
