TSA Riley is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic minded Project Management professional to step into a newly created Director role with the chance to truly make it your own.

With a strong foundation of long-standing client partnerships already in place, you'll have both the platform and autonomy to identify new opportunities and lead sector growth initiatives.
In this leadership role, you’ll report directly to the Executive Director and take ownership of developing and delivering strategic plans, managing fee schedules, and overseeing high-quality project delivery. Initially, you’ll lead a small team with the scope for growth as the sector expands. As the business grows, so will your responsibilities and career potential!

Key Tasks And Responsibilities Of The Director Role Include:
The key objectives for this Director role will be to combine your time between project delivery, business development and the people management of a small team of project managers. Specific duties will include:
- Leading a team of Project Managers whilst reporting into the Executive Director.
- Responsible for the growth of this sector within TSA Riley, combining your time between project delivery and business development.
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders, clients and industry partners.
- Generate additional fee income for the business within the London commercial occupier market sector.
- Management of fee forecasts and strategic planning for this sector of the TSA Riley business.
- Ensuring our client(s) achieve their stated objectives through close teamwork, proactive risk and programme controls and the provision of contractual advice.
- Prepare full tender documentation, for consultant or contractor appointments, in line with the TSA Riley requirements and present these to the client for review and comment.
- Provide /obtain advice on contractors, specialists, procurement routes, cost and programme solutions and present to the client.
- Administer / manage cost/variation procedures as applicable under the relevant Appointment or Contract
- Attend and/or chair meetings within line with the appointment provisions.
- Prepare financial and progress reports for the client, ensuring their specific data requirements are included.
- Instigate value engineering and standardisation processes aimed at optimising efficiency for both TSA Riley and the client.
- Propose innovative initiatives on service delivery for TSA Riley management consideration.
- Prepare development and delivery programmes in Microsoft Project, ensuring the key deliverable objectives are understood and reported adequately.
Desired qualifications, experience and skills:
- You will have a proven track record or working in a project management role with leadership responsibilities. Most likely at Associate Director or a higher equivalent level.
- You will have spent most of your career working on the consultancy side of the industry in strong client facing role.
- You will have amassed a large amount of your experience specifically working within the London commercial occupier market and have a strong understanding of the marketplace and where opportunities may exist for TSA Riley.
- You will have a strong network of contractors and potential client contacts which you will be able to utilise to generate opportunities.
- You will have a proven track record of winning new work in your previous role(s). Either by maximising work with existing clients or by attracting new clients.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop successful, long-standing relationships with key stakeholders within the sector.
- Degree qualified in a relevant subject such as Construction Project Management or a similar equivalent subject.
- Membership to a relevant professional body such as the CIOB or RICS is essential.
- Experience of carrying out the full remit of pre and post contract duties in a Project Management role.
- You should have proven people management skills and be able to demonstrate how you have successfully managed and developed teams of staff effectively.
