Director, Financial Planning and Analysis — Savanta

This role is based in London, with the expectation to be onsite 2-3 days a week. Savanta is a data, market research and advisory company with teams in the UK, Americas, and APAC. We inform and inspire clients to make better decisions through data, empowering technology and high-impact consulting.

This role provides strategic influence and leadership to drive the organization’s next phase of growth, with exposure to transformation programmes and the opportunity to turn creative thinking into actionable results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic insight and financial leadership to guide planning and decision-making across the organisation.
  • Translate strategy into actionable financial plans and robust financial models.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive performance, manage budgets and forecasts, and support transformation initiatives.
  • Lead FP&A activities, including performance reporting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Influence cross-functional teams through effective collaboration and stakeholder management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in FP&A or senior finance roles within complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); strong ERP experience.
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the sector.
  • Experience conducting FP&A for multinational organisations; exposure to transformation programmes.
  • Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., Tech, Research, SaaS, DaaS) and ability to adapt to different environments.
