Responsibilities
Compliance Program LeadershipDevelop, implement, and maintain global compliance procedures aligned with international background screening regulations and data privacy laws.Monitor and interpret global regulatory changes; proactively assess business impact and adjust strategies accordingly.Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams and customers on compliance and regulatory matters.Operational ExcellenceDesign and manage compliance training programs and documentation.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable solutions.Measure and report on compliance program performance using data-driven insightsTeam LeadershipLead and develop a high-performing global compliance team.Establish team goals and KPIs; monitor performance and provide coaching and mentorship.Attract, recruit, and retain top compliance talent.Cross-Functional CollaborationLead the resolution of compliance issues including escalations and customer complaints.Support customer-facing teams with compliance communication, education, and enablement.Requirements
10+ years’ experience in background screening industry desired Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background screening industry experience preferredIn-depth knowledge of Global Compliance background screening related laws and data privacy requiredDemonstrated ability to build and scale compliance programs and teams globallyStrong leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to assess and manage risk in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task each day to meet schedule demands and complete tasks in a timely mannerExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex compliance topics clearlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and highly organizedAbility to work independently and accomplish tasks without direct supervisionAbility to work well with people from many different disciplines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools$88500 - $125000 a yearThe annual base salary for this position ranges from £88,500 - £125,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
