We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to drive new business opportunities across the UK and Europe. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on expanding our presence within the payments industry by securing partnerships with key financial institutions. How You Will Create Impact New Business Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the UK and Europe, targeting large payment companies, banks, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), payroll companies, digital wallet providers, and other financial institutions. Strategic Sales Execution: Develop a strong sales pipeline and execute a systematic strategy to build long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth. Industry Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for TerraPay in the UK and European markets by attending industry events, forums, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships within the payments ecosystem. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with TerraPays teams, including customer success, engineering, compliance, and operations, to align our offerings with UK and European regulatory and market requirements. Market Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the UK and European payments landscape, including regulations, cross-border transaction trends, and cultural nuances, to tailor TerraPays market approach effectively. Product Customization: Support the adaptation of TerraPays products and services to meet the unique regulatory and business needs of the UK and European markets. End-to-End Sales Management: Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to contracting, ensuring that we deliver maximum value to customers while fostering long-term business relationships. Requirements Essential qualifications: +15 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
