About the RoleAs a Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of ChemPartner's CRO service. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to generate new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and position ChemPartner as a preferred partner in the CRO industry.In this role, you will:Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunitiesCollaborate closely with BD colleagues, technical teams, and senior management to establish large key accounts and strengthen ChemPartner's market presenceAchieve sales revenue targets for new and existing accounts, demonstrating exceptional deal-closing skillsManage and cultivate existing client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring client satisfactionUtilize CRM effectively to track and manage an opportunity pipeline, providing critical insights for forecasting and decision-makingRepresent ChemPartner at industry meetings, conferences, and events, showcasing the company's expertise and capabilitiesProvide regular status and activity updates to senior management, technical leaders, and Global BD Team members, ensuring transparency and accountabilityContinuously monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, identifying potential opportunities and threatsCore RequirementsA combination of education and/or industry experience demonstrating proficiency in scientific fields (e.g., life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals).Proven success in business development (BD) or sales, with trackable achievements in client acquisition, revenue growth, or target overachievement.Client-Centric Negotiation: Expertise in analyzing client needs, designing proposals, and closing complex deals.Strategic Execution: Ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans.Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with global clients and internal teams.Self-driven and adaptable to dynamic work schedules, including domestic and international travel.Results-oriented with resilience to deliver under pressure.Commitment to continuous learning and innovative problem-solving.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Contract Research Organization (CRO), biotech, or pharmaceutical business development.Advanced degree (e.g., PhD) or industry certifications (e.g., BD-specific training) are a plus, but not mandatory.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other legally protected status.Competency and alignment with role requirements are our sole criteria.
