Are you an accomplished Business Development Director with a proven track record in the live events, exhibitions, and conference sector?
Join a Global Event Agency in their thriving London office and play a pivotal role in their expansion into exciting new territories. We're looking for a strategic and results-driven leader to drive sales and secure high-value projects with global brands.
The Opportunity
As our Business Development Director, you will be responsible for:
- Spearheading new business acquisition across key growth sectors, including Tech, AI, Electric Vehicles (EV), and Pharma.
- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with C-suite level decision-makers.
- Leveraging your deep understanding of live events, exhibitions, and conference event solutions to craft bespoke proposals and close complex sales.
- Working closely with the UK leadership team to shape sales strategy and drive the agency's growth.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of demonstrable success in a Business Development Director or equivalent senior sales role within the agency side of the events industry.
- Essential experience selling live events, exhibitions, and conference solutions.
- The confidence and gravitas to engage and negotiate with C-suite executives.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify, penetrate, and grow new market territories.
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude and a network you can leverage.
The Package
- Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum (base).
- Commission: Highly competitive structure based on the Gross Profitability of the projects you secure (details available to candidates later in the process).
- Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in our vibrant London office.
- Start Date: Ideally November 2025.
- 24 working days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- Health and Dental Insurance (after successful completion of probation).
