Overview

We are partnering with a dynamic and ambitious organization to appoint a Business Development & Marketing Director based in Central London. This is a pivotal, permanent role for a commercially minded leader who can drive growth through innovative marketing strategies and strong business development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping, executing, and managing the sales and marketing functions of the business—playing a vital role in delivering revenue growth and expanding market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of all strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to senior leadership regarding competitor activity, client needs, and business opportunities.
  • Plan and implement business development strategies to penetrate new markets and generate revenue growth.
  • Lead on targeted marketing campaigns, networking, and client engagement to generate high-quality leads.
  • Manage client relationships end-to-end: meeting with clients, identifying needs, and offering strategic solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with corporate and regional marketing teams to deliver joint business development initiatives.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients in partnership with the project team.
  • Deliver persuasive and confident client presentations while maintaining a consultative approach.
  • Operate to ambitious targets with a proactive, solutions-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ensure the highest levels of professionalism, transparency, and integrity in all business dealings.

About You

  • Proven track record in business development and marketing leadership.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and networking skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others while driving new business opportunities.
  • Highly organised with exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, yet highly collaborative with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A positive and resilient mindset, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to turn strategy into measurable results.
