Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving client growth across international markets? Our prestigious global law firm client is seeking a Director of Client Development to lead its European business development efforts across the UK, Belgium, and Germany.

This is a high-impact leadership position based in London and reporting to the Chief Clients & Markets Officer (based in New York). You’ll oversee a talented team across Europe, guiding their development and spearheading initiatives that elevate the firm’s visibility and client engagement. You’ll also play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead client development strategies for key practices including International Arbitration, White Collar Defense, Antitrust, Cybersecurity, and IP.
  • Drive cross-practice initiatives, pitch development, market outreach, and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Manage legal directory submissions, awards, and PR efforts.
  • Oversee client-facing events and sponsorships, ensuring seamless execution and strategic impact.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to identify new business opportunities and enhance client relationships.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 15+ years’ experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Proven leadership in managing remote teams and delivering results across international markets.
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Microsoft Suite, Vuture, ON24, and InterAction is a plus.
