Our client is a leading High Voltage Electrical Engineering Company offering a complete service for your existing networks and utility connections. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Director to progress the business to the next stages in their planned growth.

The Role

• You will report directly to the UK Managing Director and have a particular focus on the Renewable Projects and Private Networks.
• You manage a small team of dedicated Business Development managers and mentor when required.
• You will develop and implement the strategy for growth and have significant input on the bidding of suitable projects.
• You will identify a pipeline of opportunities, developing the appropriate client, partner and supplier relationships.
• Will have input on all company marketing.

The Person

• You will have a background in the UK power sector and business connections with both consultants and sub-contractors.
• You will be keen to join a business that has a reputation for rewarding success.
• You will be Commercially astute and understand the subtleties of what the client is looking for.
