Our client, a respected independent senior school, is seeking an IT Director to oversee IT service delivery and take the reins on developing and implementing a strategic roadmap for IT operations and governance structures for technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and governance of secure IT infrastructure and data environments and operations
• Own and evolve compliance processes to meet regulatory standards across data protection and security frameworks
• Work with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with organisational goals
• Identify and mitigate cyber risks while promoting a culture of security awareness

Required Experience

• Proven track record in IT management in an education environment/s with a breadth of experience across infrastructure, data and cybersecurity
• Strong grasp of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials)
• Ability to communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders
