The Role As Director of Learning - Science, you will:

Lead curriculum innovation and teaching excellence across KS3 and KS4 Drive student progress and attainment in science Line manage and develop a team of passionate science educators Build links with feeder primary schools to ensure curriculum continuity Champion STEM enrichment through clubs, competitions, and outreach Contribute to whole-school leadership and strategic improvement

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or equivalent) Proven success in raising achievement in secondary science Experience in middle or senior leadership Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and data analysis Passion for inclusive education and community engagement Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Desirable

NPQML / NPQSL or Masters-level qualification Experience in more than one school, ideally one rated "Good" or better SENCO, DSL, or pastoral leadership experience
